New Card Management Features: Safer, Smarter, and More Flexible

We’ve updated our payment system to give you more control and security when managing your saved credit cards on your CAE Dental account. Here’s what’s new:1. Remove Cards with Confidence You can now remove any saved credit card from your account at any time—unless it’s the last active card required for important services (see below).2. Autopay Protection If you’re enrolled in Autopay, you must always have at least one active (non-expired) card on file. This ensures your payments are processed smoothly and without interruption. If you try to remove your last active card while Autopay is enabled, you’ll be prompted to add a new card or disable Autopay first.3. Invoice Security If you have any outstanding invoices, you’ll also need to keep at least one active card on file until your balance is paid. This helps us ensure your account remains in good standing.4. Expired Card Indicator Expired cards are now clearly marked with a red “Expired” badge in your payment methods list. This makes it easy to see which cards are no longer valid for payments.5. Easy to Understand Messages If you ever try to remove a card and can’t, you’ll see a clear message explaining why and what steps to take next.How to Manage Your Cards:
  • Go to “My Account” > “Payment Details”
  • Add, remove, or set your default card as needed
  • Look for the “Expired” badge to spot cards that need updating
