Planmeca® Planscan systems allow you to connect directly with CAE Dental Lab for fast, streamlined case submissions. Once CAE Dental is added as a preferred lab, you can send scans with just a few taps. This guide walks you through connecting your scanner and submitting cases efficiently.
🔗 Step 1: Access the “Find a Lab” Option
On your Planmeca Planscan interface:
- Navigate to the Find a Lab or Lab Connections section
- Ensure your scanner is connected to the internet
This is where you manage partner labs and digital case submissions.
🔍 Step 2: Search for CAE Dental Lab
Use the search bar to locate CAE Dental:
- Type “CAE Dental Lab”
- Or search using the email: [email protected]
If multiple results appear, select the listing associated with CAE Dental’s official contact information.
➕ Step 3: Add CAE Dental as a Preferred Lab
Once you locate CAE Dental:
- Select Add, Connect, or Add to Preferred Labs
- Confirm the connection when prompted
CAE Dental will now appear in your list of available labs for future submissions.

When your scan is complete:
- Select Send Case or Submit Scan
- Choose CAE Dental Lab as the designated recipient
