📘 How to Send Digital Scans From Medit® Link

Overview

Medit® Link provides a fast, cloud‑based workflow for sending digital impressions directly to CAE Dental. Once your account is set up and CAE Dental is added as a partner lab, you can submit cases seamlessly with just a few clicks. This guide walks you through creating your Medit Link account, adding CAE Dental, and sending cases efficiently.

🔗 Step 1: Access Medit® Link

To begin:

  • Visit meditlink.com
  • Log in or create a new account

Medit Link is the central hub for managing scans, partners, and case submissions.

📝 Step 2: Create Your Medit Link Account

If you don’t already have an account:

  1. Click “Don’t have an account? Sign up.”
  2. Choose the Administrator role
    • Select the category that best matches your business (e.g., clinic, lab, group practice)
  3. Enter your business information
  4. Check your email for a verification link

This email will also include instructions for downloading the Medit Link software.

💻 Step 3: Download the Medit Link Software

  • Open the verification email
  • Follow the included instructions to download and install the Medit Link desktop application
  • Log in using the account you just created

This software is required to manage partners and send cases.

🤝 Step 4: Add CAE Dental as a Partner Lab

Inside the Medit Link software:

  1. Navigate to Partners
  2. Click “Add New Partner”
  3. Use the search bar to look for CAE Dental Laboratory
  4. Select CAE Dental and confirm the connection

Once added, CAE Dental will appear in your partner list for future submissions.

📤 Step 5: Send Cases to CAE Dental

After CAE Dental is added as a partner:

  • Open your case in Medit Link
  • Select Send Case
  • Choose CAE Dental Laboratory as the destination
  • Upload your STL/PLY scans and any supporting photos
  • Add case notes and submit

Your case will be transmitted securely through the Medit cloud platform.
