📘 How to Connect Your iTero® Scanner to CAE Dental Lab

Overview

iTero® scanners require a support‑assisted setup to add CAE Dental Lab as a connected destination. Once added, you can send scans directly from your scanner with just a few taps. This guide walks you through contacting iTero support, adding CAE Dental, and ensuring your scanner is ready for seamless case submissions.


📞 Step 1: Contact iTero Support

To begin the integration process:

  • Call 800‑577‑8767
  • Follow the automated menu and choose Option 1 to reach a support representative

iTero support must manually add CAE Dental Lab to your scanner.


🧑‍💻 Step 2: Request CAE Dental Lab Addition

When connected with a representative:

  • Request that CAE Dental Lab be added as a preferred lab on your iTero scanner
  • Provide the lab name: CAE Dental Lab
  • If needed, provide the lab address:

    Fort Myers, FL 33919

The representative will confirm once the lab has been successfully added.


🔄 Step 3: Restart Your iTero Scanner

After iTero support completes the setup:

  • Restart your scanner to apply the new lab connection
  • This refresh ensures CAE Dental appears in your list of available destinations

📤 Step 4: Select CAE Dental Lab When Sending Files

Once your scanner restarts:

  • Begin your scan as usual
  • When ready to send, choose CAE Dental Lab as the destination
  • Complete the submission through the standard iTero workflow

Your scans will now transmit directly to CAE Dental for processing.
