📘 Article: How to Submit a Case Through CAE Dental

Overview

Submitting a case through your CAE Dental account is quick and straightforward. This guide walks you through selecting a design, completing the RX, checking out, uploading your files, and managing your case from start to finish.

🔐 Step 1: Log In to Your CAE Dental Account

Go to caedental.com and log in using your email and password.
Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your account dashboard.

🦷 Step 2: Choose the Design You Need

At the top of the website, select the category that matches the type of design you want to order.
You’ll be taken to a gallery of design options.
Click the specific design you want to request.

📄 Step 3: Complete the RX Form

Fill out the RX with all required clinical details, preferences, and case notes.
When finished, scroll to the bottom and click “Send to Production.”

This adds the case to your cart.

💳 Step 4: Checkout

  1. Open your cart in the upper‑right corner.
  2. Click “Checkout.”
  3. Confirm your billing information.
  4. Select your preferred payment method.
  5. Agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  6. Click “Place Order.”

Your order will now be created and ready for file upload.

📤 Step 5: Upload Your Case Files

After placing your order, you’ll be taken to the Case Files page.

You can upload files by:

  • Clicking “Select Files” and choosing them from your computer, or
  • Dragging and dropping files directly into the upload area.

Allowed formats: stl, ply, dcm, obj, zip, 7zip, pts, jpg, jpeg, png, xml
Max file size: Unlimited
Important: Upload ZIP files as‑is — do not extract them.

📁 Step 6: Manage Your Cases

All active and completed cases can be found under My Account → Cases.

From here you can:

  • Check case status
  • Add notes or questions for the design team
  • Upload additional files
  • View pricing
  • Track revisions or remakes

This is your central hub for case management.

📥 Step 7: Download Your Completed Designs

When your design is ready:

  • You’ll receive an email notification
  • The completed files will be attached to your case under the “Designed” folder
  • Log in to download your final design files directly from the order page
