📘 How to Place Your First Order

Overview

Submitting a case through CAE Dental is fast, secure, and designed to fit seamlessly into your digital workflow. This guide walks you through each step of placing your first order, from selecting the service to uploading your scans.


Step 1: Log In to Your Account

  • Visit caedental.com
  • Click My Account
  • Enter your email and password
  • Select Log In

Step 2: Choose Your Design Service

Navigate to the Order or Products section and select the type of case you want to submit. Common categories include:

  • Crown & Bridge Design
  • Implant Abutment or Full‑Arch Design
  • Digital Dentures
  • Ortho / Clear Aligner Setup
  • Bite Splints & Night Guards
  • Sports Mouthguards
  • Diagnostic Wax‑ups

Each product page includes details about requirements, turnaround times, and what files you’ll need.


Step 3: Add the Case to Your Cart

Once you’ve selected the appropriate design service:

  1. Choose any required options (material, design preferences, turnaround speed).
  2. Click Add to Cart.
  3. Proceed to Checkout.

You can submit multiple cases in one checkout session.


Step 4: Upload Your Files

During checkout, you’ll see upload fields for your case files. You can upload:

  • STL, PLY, or OBJ scans
  • Photos (shade, pre‑op, bite, smile line)
  • Bite scans
  • Additional documentation (PDF, ZIP, notes)

File Upload Tips

  • Ensure your scans are clean and properly trimmed
  • Name files clearly (e.g., “Upper.stl”, “Lower.stl”, “Bite.stl”)
  • Upload all required components before submitting

Step 5: Add Case Notes

Use the Case Notes field to communicate important details, such as:

  • Margin preferences
  • Occlusion requirements
  • Shade information
  • Implant system
  • Special requests or design instructions

Clear notes help ensure accurate results and reduce revisions.


Step 6: Submit Your Order

Once everything is uploaded:

  1. Review your order summary
  2. Confirm your billing method
  3. Click Place Order

You’ll receive an email confirmation immediately.


Step 7: Track Your Case

After submission, you can monitor progress in My Account → Orders.

Statuses may include:

  • Received
  • In Design
  • Awaiting Additional Files
  • Completed
  • Delivered

You can also download final files directly from the order page once the case is completed.
