Question:

Can we customize our internal fit settings?

Answer:

There is a selection for a few generic material types. This should get you pretty close to the material you need. If you have a specific material you are manufacturing you can include it in notes or you could upload a DME file of your specific material and we can use those during design

Can we receive the exocad design folder after its designed?

Currently we do not design using Exocad

Question:

There are positives in the scan do i have to pay for you to clean them up?

Answer:

No we do not charge extra to remove positives or negatives from the scan. Please note if there are very large voids on the margin line we do the best we can to try and mimic what the margin might look like but there is no guarantee if its not an accurate scan.

What files do you prefer

Answer:

We would prefer a PLY or DCM for Crown & Bridge cases. Mainly for the color aspect; if the prep is really close to the tissue or the retraction wasn't great or not performed and there is no color to distinguish between them the best we can do is try to guess at the roll.

After submitting the order, you will have access to upload the scans/files for a Crown & Bridge - CAD Design

Patient Information

The typical turnaround time is 24-48 hrs. but not guaranteed. Cutoff Time is 3pm EST, if case is submitted after this time please add an extra day to the return time.
If you have multiple scans that need to have meshed together or scans are extremely bad and need to be cleaned up and smoothed, please select the option below.

C&B Design Information

Although we do our best to return the design in the time requested there are circumstances that arise that keep us from guaranteeing that time. You will not be charged the extra fee for files not returned in the requested time frame
Universal Numeric Notation tooth numbers are what is listed. Please use the chart to indicate the correct numbers to correspond for your system ( FDI, Palmer )

If you would like a discount on designs, please submit cases through 3shape communicate and you will receive a 50% discount. Please indicate which teeth need to be repaired on the scan.
Please indicate the type of restoration being fabricated. Helps determine minimum thickness values.
Do any of the crowns need to be screw retained or have abutments? We would recommend using the Abutment Design Product to proceed
Is the restoration involved with a current partial or going to fit a future partial?
Please include information on how you would like the restoration to be fabricated for future partial setup
